Rebuild Project is a collaboration of various organizations moved to action by the sufferings of the victims of typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. They are the Professionals for Social Responsibility, the Community of Small Fisherfolk of Naborot Island, San Dionisio, the Jaro Archdiocesan Pastoral Secretariat and the San Dionisio Parish. Some call it a faith-response. They facilitated donations in the form of cash, food and non-food, and ready-packed relief goods to municipalities and barangays two days after Typhoon Yolanda / Haiyan. They also rebuild communities by building boats for the fisherfolk and start-up housing for the families. They recently lighted the community with solar powered street lights and fixed the water system so islanders don’t have to travel to the next is;and to get drinking water.
They needed a website to facilitate reporting of the help they have been giving to the affected communities as well as to campaign for more aid here and abroad. And that’s exactly what the website did.
